of bicycles for kids. kron-4's jeff pierce reports on the good deed for children who might not otherwise get a present for christmas. bicycles, thousands of bicycles were being built in san jose saturday morning by turning wheels an organzation that gives them to children that would probably never have the opportunity to have a shiny day. >> you can't get a better gift than a bike and you ride it everyday, you ride it to >> turning wheels has been building new bicycles for eight years and this year more then three thousand bicycles were assembled by more than a thousand volunteers who took joy in their tasks >> every kid deserves a bike and a good christmas so it's fun. it was the best present i ever had so i know how good it feels to get a bike. >> i enjoy seeing the kids get bikes so it's a good feeling. >> turning wheels has had no difficulty finding bicycle builders. we opened registration and within four minutes we closed registration we have a thousand builders. >> corporate sponsers and local fire departments had to compete for a spot for a team to assemble the bicycles. we tried to g

for a serial rapist. who has attacked at least two women in the last six- months. kron four's jeff bush explains what happened, and shows you who police are looking for. >> the richmond police have been handing out fliers like this. this is believed to be the same person, one with short hair, one with longer hair. the first attack was on a june 6th, the victim was approached from behind and forced into a car. on november 20th, another attack this woman was followed for a short time and he was also trying to coax her into the car. she was able to get away. the next day, november 21st, another victim was also being followed. the suspect tried to get her into the car and she refused but this time he foerster in the car with a knife. she was taken into. >> this has been in the 22nd street corridor. the same general area. >> they are warning women to be careful, and to walk in groups and at night especially after dark. jeff bush, kron 4 news. >>pam: new video tonight. from the scene of a head-on collision in eastern contra costa county. that killed a woman and a young boy. the c-h-p says, an

police say a driver ran into the group. jeff bush is live. >> reporter: wean just a little bit about -- we know just a little bit about this incident. to my right is the twin peaks overlook, where you can see san francisco from twin peaks. a driver hit four people, knocking one of them 30 feet down this steep ravine. the fire department had to rescue that person. she went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. a suspect was arrested a short time after, not too far away from this situation. four people were in that vehicle. we're not sure if drugs or alcohol were involved. but there has been an arrest. four people were hit. two people with nonlife-threatening injuries, two people with life-threatening injuries. more on this story as we get more developments. live in san francisco, kron4 news. >>> major charge s underway in curry village at yosemite national park where the hantavirus outbreak started in the summer. >> 10 people got sick from the hantavirus. three eventually died. park officials decided to demolish some of the tent cabins where it's believed the victims were i

six kron-4's jeff bush is in richmond tonight with the new details. jeff? >> this 23 to street corridor is his hunting ground. there are two different police sketches, the left is the longer air and the right with the shorter hair. they believe that this is the same person, with 5 ft. 7 in., with hispanic. the victim was approached from behind and forced into the car and sexually assaulted. on november 20th, a second attack she felt like she was being followed. she was able to get away intimated to a safe location. the very next day, november 21st first, the same situation, the suspect tried to get her into the car he produced a knife. choker to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her. >> what we are getting from the victim's the motive is very similar and the description is very similar. they could be connected in some ways a we really want to make sure that we're getting the information out there. ticket safety tips and to make sure that we're letting people know that there are people out there. we have had to kidnappings. with a sexual assault and these two kidnapping
